Visitor Information
Sometimes a Garden is just a Garden, but here is more information that might prove useful for your visit.
Car Parking
The garden is located on a quiet residential estate with ample on-street parking. Later arrivals may need to park further away on the estate and walk an extra minute or two to the garden. Please be considerate of of other estate residents when parking.
Directions
Please be aware there are separate entrance and exit roads to the estate where the Garden is located. Be aware of the working 30mph traffic cameras on Sandhurst high street. Refer to Google Maps at the bottom of the page for directions. Use Sat-Nav postcode GU47 8PN.
Visiting Alone
Worried about visiting alone? Don't be as you won't be! You will be with many other like-minded individuals, all with a similar enthusiasm for nosying around gardens, looking at plants and enjoying an indulgent slice or two of cake. Don't be surprised if you come away with new friends.
Disabled access
We regret that we cannot safely accommodate wheelchair users. Those with restricted mobility should be aware that there is a gravel drive to the Garden entrance followed by some short steps. The rest of the garden is gently sloping and mostly accessible via grass paths.
Facilities
As we are a private Garden, bathroom facilities are not available to visitors. Hand sanitiser is available on request. Domestic-sanitised crockery and cutlery is used for the refreshments.
Ticket Booking
Booking tickets is now optional. You can book tickets even on the day of a Garden opening. Simply visit the National Garden Scheme web site. Tickets are valid for any time on the day from 1:00pm until close. Alternatively, simply arrive and pay the admission at the garden gate.
Photography
Photography for personal, non-commercial use is allowed in the Garden. For commercial photography, please get in touch to agree arrangements prior to your visit. As a Garden visitor, you may be in photographs taken by the Garden helpers and volunteers, to be used for non-commercial purposes.
